Shocking, I know, but we have just been too busy capturing lovely weddings to be able to update and we are now in the process of designing a new sparkly website, that will hopefully be running by mid Feb (around the time of the Wedding Journal show at the Kings Hall)

The inaugural Wedding Journal Reader Awards took place at Belfast’s Europa hotel and we are delighted to say that Digital Bride were voted all Ireland Wedding Videographers of the Year 2012!
The event saw a host of the nations best wedding suppliers, as voted by readers of Wedding Journal magazine and Weddingjournalonline, awarded as winners and finalists over 15 categories.
Thank you to all of you who took time to vote for Digital Bride. Below is a photo of William and Jackie being presented with the award by Cool FM's Kirstie McMurray :)

Happy Anniversary

Well off to the Dunadry today and the Galgorm tomorrow, but before we head off, just wanted to say happy anniversary to who I would say is our most talked about Bride and Groom! Joanne and Mark got married 5 years ago today and Digital Bride had the pleasure of capturing their special day and from that came 2 of our most used and recognised images. Mark with his pint always attracted the Grooms-To-Be and of course the one of Joanne against the arch, we still use to this day on the face of our business cards :) Happy anniversary guys and thanks for the wonderful images :)

What a day at Jennifer & Roberts wedding day which all took place at La Mon Hotel and Country Club, on the outskirts of Belfast. After a blustery morning, the sun put his hat on and came out to join us for the rest of the day which made for some wonderful photo oportunities!

Juice Wedding Band

The always excellent Brendan and Rod, from the group JUICE, rocking Helen and Tony's wedding last night at the Silver Tassie Hotel in Letterkenny. (Yes we do travel that far) Smashing day yesterday and got some fantastic photos, even had a stop off for some shots at the new Peace Bridge in Derry/Londonderry! Can't wait to get working on them. But they will have to wait for the moment as more weddings beckon! Have a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend folks :)

Well that's it for another 6 months. What a weekend exhibiting and filming at the Wedding Journal show at the Kings Hall!
Thank you to everyone who took the time to call at our stand. It was great meeting so many lovely Bride and Grooms to be and a special thank you to those who have choosen Digital Bride to capture your special day.

WOW what a weekend at the Wedding Journal show at the Kings Hall! Getting to meet and greet so many lovely Bride & Grooms to be and show them our work was just fantastic. Lots of bookings and LOTS of interest in our work.

Heres a photo of our 2 beautiful 'Digital Dollies', Yvonne & Paula, who did a wonderful job running our stand, taking bookings, talking with future Bride & Grooms and generally spreading the good word about Digital Bride, while Jackie and William ran about the whole weekend videoing the show. Digital Bride to be Official Videographers at the Wedding Journal Show 25th - 27th Feb 2011!

We are proud to have been asked to be the official videographers at this weekends huge Wedding Journal Show at the Kings Hall in Belfast! So if you are attending and see us running around with video cameras, don't shy away, put on your biggest Bridal smile and give a wave for the camera!

HAPPY NEW YEAR...

2011 is upon us and it's shaping up to be a very busy and exciting year for Digital Bride . Firstly I would like to thank all our Bride and Grooms for making 2010 a wonderful year. We were extremely busy (hence the lateness in updating our blogs), but also had the fortune to be asked to capture a few high profile weddings, including Louise and David at Harvey’s Point in Donegal, who were the winners of The Northern Ireland Wedding Journal and COOL FM wedding competition.

We also captured the marriage of Scottish Premier League, Kilmarnock defender, Tim Clancy to Seaneen at Darver Castle in Co. Louth.

Then as the year was coming to an end we were official videographers at the wedding of ex Miss Great Britain, model, presenter and media personality, Gemma Garrett when she married her soul mate, Andy.

At the very end of 2010 Digital Bride gained a new employee… Olivia Grace Kelly Napier. Born on 16th December 2010 to Jackie & Yvonne of Digital Bride. Congratulations on their special Christmas Delivery!
